There are countless options available to consumers today when choosing exterior door handlesets and interior door handles. The architectural design of your home can be enhanced by a handleset which is in keeping with the style of the construction. You can also establish an eclectic design style with a new set of exterior and interior door handles that build on a decorating theme.
When replacing your door handlesets, keep in mind that you may need either tubular or mortise locks. After removing your door handle, you will see two holes that have been drilled into the door to accommodate the handleset. These holes will be either round or square. Tubular locksets will only fit in round door preps. Mortise locksets will only fit in square mortise door preps. Make sure you buy the correct handleset for your door set-up.
