Mortise Locks and Various Locksets

There are many different kinds of locksets that can be used on different types of doors. The “passage” lockset or a privacy lock is generally used on interior doors like a bathroom or bedroom door for household use. Locksets for exterior doors may be called entry locksets or keyed operated locks, which generally include deadbolts.
